Our Instructors
Dr. Leo Malin
Dr. Leo Malin instructs a wide range of courses each year, including implant basics, and advanced surgical and restorative protocols. He is Director of the Dominican Training Institute.
Early in his career, Dr. Malin discovered that implant placement techniques typically used would not deliver a standard, predictable result. Dr. Malin, along with other experts in the fields of radiology and occlusion, developed an occlusion-based implant placement technique that guarantees implant case control. This technique has led to four U.S. patents and provided exceptional clinical implant surgical and restorative results.
In addition, Dr. Malin was the first in the U.S. to offer mobile 3D imaging to doctors and dental implant surgical guides and case planning services. He also developed a robust tapered implant system and implant distribution company to better serve the dental implant market.
